Music

In addition to teaching music within classes, Mundella pupils enjoy a range of musical experiences throughout the year, including: Singing in the community, One Voice Festival, Music assemblies, Concerteenies, Music in the Round, Young Voices, Song writing competitions, Rocksteady lessons, individual music lessons, Proms in the Playground, The Halle and much more!

MUSIC MARK SCHOOL

As of March 2024, we are proud to have been nominated as a Music Mark School.

Music Mark is the UK Association for Music Education, championing and supporting access to music for all children and young people.

PUPIL VOICE 

 

The KS2 Children enjoyed taking part in the Young Voices concert at the Sheffield Arena.

Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2 attended Music in the Round and performed songs to the story of "The Giddy Goat" alongside live musicians at the Crucible.

Some KS2 children enjoyed a trip to Halle at City Hall. We went to make some music on the way back too!

 

 

These children enjoyed singing for the customers in Morrisons at Meadowhead.

 The Year 4 and 5 children enjoyed the One Voice performance at the Octagon this year.

We enjoyed a colourful parade this year celebrating our class names and singing and signing for the residents of Norton Lees Care Home! Then we did it all again back at school!

The Y6 children performed an amazing production of The Wizard of Oz!
